Baby-wearing Bellydance - Come and play, belly-style! With a focus on using dance moves to connect with your baby, you’ll also be toning the muscles needed to parent with ease. Offered at Bellybum boutique, this class gives you the time and space to do something for yourself while actively parenting your baby. Your baby will benefit from the exposure to the music and movement, as well as the relaxed time spent with you. Short combinations you can continue to use at home will be presented, as well as a general bellydance vocabulary. Props may be introduced as well. All class fees apply to the parent/caregiver and the baby he or she wears. If you’re parenting more than one, please arrange for an additional adult to register for the class so we can maintain a safe and helpful adult-to-child ratio for our dance time. Papas and caregivers are welcome to register as well—this class is NOT just for mamas! Please dress in comfortable standard workout attire and get ready to move and have fun! If you have a coin-belt or hip-scarf, please bring it along! |
